We’re mere hours away from J. Cole‘s highly-anticipated studio album KOD, and before its official release tonight, the trailer explaining the LP’s title has made its way online.

As previously reported, the acronym does in fact have multiple meanings. The first one, Kids on Drugs, brings attention to the prescription drug trend made popular by young adults in recent years. “If I turn on the TV right now, it’s not gon take long for there to be an advertisement that pops up that says ‘Are you feeling down? Have you been having lonely thoughts?,’ a voice that sounds like Cole states in a distorted tone in the trailer. “And then they shove a pill in your face. The first response of any problem is MEDICATE.”

The trailer then goes into the album name’s second meaning, which stands for King Overdosed. “That’s representing me, the times that I was and am afflicted by the same methods of escape,” he continues, referencing alcohol and phone addictions. The third and final definition of KOD translates to Kill Our Demons, which the renowned lyricist believes is the “end goal. To face our shit; realize that we have some shit going on inside. Everybody.”

Most of his fans are ready to brag about Cole going platinum with no features a second time around, but some have been thrown for a loop with the name Kill Edward, who is listed on “The Cut Off” and “FRIENDS.” Rumors have swirled that “Kill Edward” may be an alter ego for J. Cole. Though it still remains unclear who Kill Edward actually is, all will come to light once KOD drops at midnight.

“Few more hours to go. Then it’s time to fuck shit up,” Dreamville President Ibrahim Hamad tweeted after posting—then deleting—the trailer.

J. Cole’s short rollout couldn’t have come at a better time. The Dreamville founder is on several festival bills this spring and summer, where he’ll surely perform tracks off the LP. Make sure you’re up to speed with all things KOD by reading everything we know about the album thus far.
